- Broadly speaking a datacenter is a big box that crunches information (CPU/GPU) or stores information (hard drives). An AI datacenter only crunches information (GPU). Both need networking to move information in and out, allowing for both service and management
- Energy as an input and residuals are in natural resources and waste, respectively
- The asset supply chains are extremely complex and fragile
- Dropping a bunch of boxes in your backyard does not automatically create a knowledge/intelligence economy
